What data we collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account (first name, last name, email address, and optionally a phone number and profile photo), as well as bike listings you create, booking requests, messages sent through the in-app chat, and condition photos uploaded during a rental.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate the marketplace: to process bookings, display bike listings, enable communication between renters and owners, send email verification links and notifications, and manage your account.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. Information visible to other users (such as your name, profile photo, and reviews) is limited to what is needed to complete a rental. Bike listing details are publicly visible to allow renters to find and book bikes.
Security
All accounts require email verification before activation. Our team monitors bike listings and can remove any that violate platform rules, and accounts that violate those rules can be suspended or permanently banned by an administrator. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and never in plain text.
Your rights and data deletion
You can update or delete your profile information at any time from your account settings. To request full account deletion or ask a question about your data, contact us by email via the Contact page.
